it has recently become painfully apparent that we have a bit of a bird situation going on at my house. i attribute most of it to allison. what can i say? the ol' bird likes birds. almost every room in my house has been commandeered by at least one bird. you can find them nesting in various nooks and crannies. at least they aren't messy.

no clue how much they've made yet. some articles have speculated that only the band will ever know. and one article somewhere has put out an estimate of like an average of $10.37 per download. but i don' think anyone really knows if the album will be eligible to chart or anything like that. if you're interested, here's an excerpt of an interview that deals with it.

So, I was *this* close to taking that bird statue here with me, the one that matches yours, but in those last wee hours of the morning, I had to throw it in a box because it wouldn't fit.
I did bring the little pissing boy, though.
at first glance i did not see the kiwi, and then i did. my night is far improved.
