for the past few months i have been somewhat addicted to scrabble! i love to play. anywhere. anytime. i recently learned a slightly different variation of the game. it's called: speed scrabble! at first i was a bit skeptical (who really wants to mess with what is not broken??) i must admit that this new take on an old game is wonderfully welcomed! when you are in the mood to play but only have a limited amount of time (or attention span)--speed scrabble is the perfect fix for your word-game craving.luckily i have a roommate who LOVES to play just as much as i do. she understands my newfound love.
i have been documenting (in photos) each finished game of scrabble, and i have been formulating a theory. i believe that every scrabble board has a "theme". sometimes the theme is pretty obvious, i.e.: sports, sex, crude humor, food... sometimes the theme is more subtle, and you really have to look for it. every time, without fail, i have found a theme. it only adds to the fun that is scrabble!

So, I have learned that there is a facebook application where we can play scrabble turn by turn, like chess. You up for a game?
