of course the "marie" route is more formal. it is longer. and it is my full given name.
but, i am a bit partial to the mystery of the "m". marie is so common, and i like to think that this mystery middle name could be a conversation starter in the future. hanging on the wall of my office...who knows, it could break an otherwise awkward silence. maybe?

I've yet to pick it up from St. Thomas, though so I can't really say whether or not it would be a conversation starter with total strangers.
