in order to make a proper manhattan for our next conquered cocktail we had to create bourbon-soaked cherries.  a few snapshots of our foray:

step 1: wash fresh cherries.

step 2: pit* cherries.

step 3: pour bourbon, generously.

step 4: seal & soak!
