after a scotch-tasting a spec's where we sampled 9 different varieties (one was older than me!) i have a new appreciation for the spirit.
i did not have a taste for the drink prior to the tasting.
perhaps it was the company. or the generous servings per sip. or the fact that the commentary on the varieties were coming straight from the master distiller with a thick scottish accent.
...but i walked away with a 15 year bottle & a smile.
