one component of my job deals with field safety. in addition to the satisfaction that comes with coordinating a safe trip, i sometimes receive an added bonus...an invitation to the field!
tomorrow i will depart for a training day in the field (near houston).
in a couple of weeks, i'll depart for a two week stint to see the beautiful rock formations in el paso, new mexico, san antonio & puerto rico. i have lovingly named this my 'o-city trip'.
i'm quite excited about the whole experience. especially my neat new field boots (required of all trips, to avoid trips!) courtesy of EM.
why didn't i pursue geology again??

And, it's never too late to pursue geology. You have your whole life ahead of you!
Have I mentioned lately how much I love your life? And I love the way you get excited about these things. You were SO meant to work in this department!! So cute.
