we're back!

oh, hello!

we have returned from our wonderful trip to london. it was an adventure filled with great food (surprised?, me too), great friends (old & new), and great memories. i laughed more in this week than i can remember. i feel lucky to have such wonderful friends who can moonlight as traveling companions.

the weather was beautiful for the majority of the week (save one day). we were able to see most of the city, and even caught an evening at the theater. i particularly enjoyed the 'in-between' moments of our days. walking, tubing, bussing, running to/from destinations. these were the most precious of times to me.

another love.

there are very many loves in my life. perhaps not so surprisingly, topping off the list are instant photos. i have previously shared my love of polaroids, and now i find it fitting to share another collection: photo booth photos. i could write for days of my interest in these delightful treasures; the history of the booth, the different types of photos, the colors, the 'themes'...

they are lovely, albeit silly & quite unflattering at times. they are lovely.
