100 mph.

i like to think of my life as a map. my path is indicated by a skinny black line which twists and turns according to my moods and decisions. the people i have come into contact with create intersections on my map. their paths may be heading in a different direction, but we cross at some point, and not by chance. some people travel with me for a while, making their way across the map in the same general direction before veering off to follow their own course. others collide briefly, and quickly make an acute turn. sometimes the people who happen upon my path change the course of my route. i like it when i meet people who do this. it's easy to get lost. it's easy to wake up one morning and fail to realize how you got to this point. but we can't stop, and wait for the answers to appear in front of us. we just have to keep going in the hopes that we are traveling in the right direction.

don't you wonder where all of these people are going in their cars at 10:18 p.m. on a friday night? i do!

finals suck.

counting down the days.

i would like to welcome the holiday season! with december comes heart-warming drinks, heartfelt baked goodies, hearthealthy weather for running, and heartstopping decorations!
each morning our advent calendar treats us to a tiny chocolate present.
we also have a live tree growing in our living room. doug is dressed with ornaments and a star. he is slowly being piled with presents.
christmas shopping, holiday music, winter break. it could not come at a more perfect time for me. the drive to sour lake cannot come soon enough. i need to spend the holidays with my family.
cheers!
with love,
camille.
p.s. i love starbuck's "pass the cheer" ad campaign. (not to mention the gingerbread latte!)
